Ontario Fishing License Information
Several types of permits are available:
• by the day or by the year
• Sports license which entitles you to 5 possession fish
• Conservation license which entitles you to 2 possession fish

A license is required to fish. Limit: You will be able to keep a total of 2 to 5 salmonids, depending on your license, including Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, rainbow trout (Steelhead)
***A child under 18 and an adult 65 and over do not need a permit and are entitled to their quota if they have a birth certificate***
