Seasickness
Lake Ontario is a large lake that is considered an inland sea so there is a possibility of seasickness.
For those who have never been at sea the question arises. Will I get seasick?
This is a possibility to consider in order to organize yourself to be able to spend a great day fishing and not to have a hell of a time. There are many ways to counter seasickness but you have to know which one is right for you. There are gravol in pills that you have to take two hours before boarding the boat for more efficiency.
According to my clients, the most effective is a patch. You have to put it on a minimum of eight hours before and it's good for three days. Except that the latter two can have side effects. I therefore recommend trying one or the other at home on a weekend day. This way, during the fishing day, you will not be surprised to have an undesirable side effect such as falling asleep or blurred vision. For those who don't think they have a problem with seasickness, there is the ginger gravol lozenge which has no side effects but is not as effective. It should be remembered that you must take the medication before going to sea.
Prevention is better than cure!
